Woodbridge, NJ (December 26, 2025) — A 22-year-old man from Elizabeth was tragically killed in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon on the Garden State Parkway near the Exit 132 entrance ramp in Woodbridge.
According to the New Jersey State Police, the fatal incident took place on December 24 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Li Wei Lin was driving a Honda when it veered off the right side of the entrance ramp and struck a guardrail. The vehicle then continued onto the northbound lanes of the parkway, traveling perpendicular to traffic.
A Lexus SUV driven by a 57-year-old woman from Barnegat collided with the Honda, which was then propelled into a concrete barrier. A Ram pickup truck, operated by a 74-year-old man from Beach Haven, struck the Lexus from behind.
Li Wei Lin sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the Lexus was unharmed, while the man in the Ram truck suffered minor injuries. Investigators are continuing to examine the crash.
