According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 3:20 a.m. on January 18 in the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway near Los Feliz Boulevard. Moses Jimenez, 28, was ejected from a vehicle and died at the scene. His city of residence was not disclosed.
