Gallia County, OH (September 23, 2025) – A man was killed and two others were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday afternoon on State Route 160, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on September 22 near milepost 10 in Gallia County. Investigators say Jake Facemyer of Gallipolis was driving an SUV when he lost control of the vehicle. The SUV left the roadway and struck a culvert before overturning multiple times.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Leonard New Jr. of Vinton, was ejected during the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Facemyer and another passenger, Jennifer Vasquez of Huntington, were transported to local hospitals with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
