South Pasadena, CA (September 23, 2025) – Authorities have identified 20-year-old Andrew Gonzalez as the man who died early Monday morning after crashing into a garage in a South Pasadena neighborhood, shortly after a police pursuit was terminated.

According to the South Pasadena Police Department, the incident occurred around 5 a.m. on September 22 in the 300 block of Orange Grove Avenue near Oliver Street. Officers had attempted to stop a 2020 Dodge Charger that had been reported stolen out of Los Angeles, but the pursuit was called off in under a minute for safety reasons.
