Vineland, NJ (August 25, 2025) – A tragic head-on crash early Sunday morning in Vineland claimed the life of a 72-year-old man and left two others injured, according to local authorities.
According to reports, the deadly crash occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. on August 24 along East Landis Avenue. Efrain DeLatorre-Valdesp, a resident of Vineland, was traveling eastbound when a westbound SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and struck his vehicle.
DeLatorre-Valdesp was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV, a 51-year-old Vineland man, was transported to a local hospital with injuries. His passenger, a 54-year-old man, was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for further treatment. The conditions of both injured individuals have not been publicly disclosed.
