Decatur, AL (January 12, 2026) – A woman has died and another person is recovering after a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Decatur, Alabama.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash took place around 2:32 p.m. on January 9 in the 2500 block of Old Moulton Road Southwest. Officials with the Decatur Police Department, Decatur Fire, and Decatur Morgan EMS all responded to the scene following a 911 call from Morgan County dispatch.
One of the drivers was taken to Decatur Morgan Hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The second driver was also transported to the same hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
