Lemoore, CA (January 11, 2026) – A woman lost her life and two others were injured in a tragic two-vehicle accident Thursday night on Highway 41 near Fremont Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:44 p.m. on January 8, when a 2019 Jeep Renegade was traveling eastbound on Fremont Avenue and, for reasons still unknown, entered the intersection and crossed into the path of a northbound 2013 Chrysler 300 on Highway 41. The Chrysler struck the right side of the Jeep with significant force.
The female driver of the Jeep sustained fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler and a passenger were both hurt, suffering moderate and minor injuries. Emergency personnel transported the Chrysler driver to Adventist Medical Center in Hanford and the passenger to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. CHP noted that alcohol or drugs are not suspected as contributing factors. The crash remains under investigation.
