Cedar City, UT (June 14, 2025) – A tragic accident occurred Thursday afternoon in Cedar City, where a worker died after being pinned beneath a manufactured home he was helping install.
According to reports, the incident took place around 3 p.m. near the intersection of 800 West and 1200 North, inside a manufactured home community. Cedar City Police reported that several workers were positioning the structure when it suddenly shifted and trapped one man underneath.
Officers immediately initiated CPR after machinery was used to lift the home off the victim. Gold Cross Ambulance EMTs took over lifesaving measures upon arrival and transported the man to Cedar City Hospital. He was later pronounced dead.
Two other workers were also under the structure at the time; one escaped injury and the other sustained minor injuries. Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased, citing respect for the family’s privacy. The incident remains under investigation.
