Richland Hills, TX (December 2, 2025) – A deadly wrong-way crash early Tuesday morning resulted in one fatality and sent another person to the hospital in Richland Hills.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Richland Hills police were first alerted around 5:30 a.m. on December 2 about a driver traveling north in the southbound lanes of Texas 121. Minutes later, that wrong-way vehicle collided head-on with another car in the 6900 block of the highway.
When first responders arrived, one of the vehicles was completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and discovered that the driver, who was alone in the vehicle, had died at the scene.
