The crash occurred just before 3:47 p.m. along the northbound lanes of Interstate 215, prompting multiple fire and rescue units to respond.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was reported trapped in a vehicle and required extrication. Crews from Medic Squad 211, Truck 211, and Battalion 402 worked together to free the individual at the scene.
