According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the deadly incident took place on October 24 when a 2006 BMW passenger car, driven by 29-year-old Tristian Bueno, was traveling westbound and reportedly attempted to pass in a no-passing zone. The vehicle moved into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a 2022 Ford Edge SUV driven by 57-year-old Julie Bryant, also of Olton.

After the crash, both vehicles erupted in flames. The wreckage of the BMW was then struck by a 2014 Toyota Tundra pickup. Thankfully, the Tundra’s driver was not injured.
