According to reports, the collision occurred just after 4:30 p.m. on August 6, 2025, at the intersection of White Rock Road and Grant Line Road in Rancho Cordova. Authorities say a Hyundai traveling northbound and a Subaru heading southbound collided head-on for reasons still under investigation.
The 21-year-old male driver of the Hyundai was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
