Waddington, NY (September 19, 2026) – Three people were seriously injured in a head-on crash on State Route 345 in Waddington on Tuesday afternoon, September 15.
According to the New York State Police, the crash involved a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Benjamin Lacy and another vehicle driven by 28-year-old Tyler Jock. State police reported that the vehicles collided after Lacy’s vehicle entered the oncoming lane.
Lacy, Tyler Jock, and 71-year-old passenger Gerald Jock were airlifted to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for treatment of serious injuries. All three were reported in stable condition as of the following morning. A four-month-old baby who was traveling in Lacy’s vehicle was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital and later released. Everyone involved in the accident was from Waddington. The crash remains under investigation.
