Philadelphia, PA (July 18, 2026) – A 37-year-old Clifton Heights woman was critically injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Interstate 95 in South Philadelphia on July 15. The incident occurred at approximately 10:36 p.m. near the Walt Whitman Bridge exit.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the woman had been driving a red Chrysler 300C southbound when she lost control and struck the median, leaving her vehicle disabled in the left lane.
