Corpus Christi, TX (September 23, 2025) – A woman and four young children were injured in a serious two-vehicle collision Monday morning in the southeastern part of Corpus Christi.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 892 and Farm to Market Road 2826. Investigators say the driver of a 2016 Toyota Sienna was heading west on FM 2826 when she failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a southbound 2016 Kia Sportage, which was towing another vehicle.

The woman driving the Toyota was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her four children, ages 10, 8, 6, and 4, were all transported to Driscoll Children’s Hospital with injuries. The extent of their conditions has not been disclosed.
