Lula, GA (December 3, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash involving a teenage driver and an elderly couple left multiple people injured Sunday afternoon in Lula, Georgia.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the collision occurred December 1 on State Route 52, also known as Lula Road, just east of Huckleberry Lane near the Lula Bridge crossing Lake Lanier. A 16-year-old driving a Ford Ranger westbound reportedly lost control while navigating a curve on the wet road. The Ranger crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming Honda Odyssey driven by 73-year-old Teresa Sellers of Mt. Airy.
The impact forced the Ranger to stop in the road, while the Odyssey veered off the north shoulder and came to rest in a ditch. The teen driver and 78-year-old passenger Joe Sellers were transported by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. Mrs. Sellers reported pain and was treated at the scene.
