Lebec, CA (July 20, 2025) – A serious crash involving a semi-truck and a box truck caused significant delays and left at least one person severely injured Saturday afternoon near the Grapevine.

According to reports, the collision occurred just before 4:20 p.m. on July 19 along the northbound side of Interstate 5, south of the escape ramp outside Lebec. The California Highway Patrol responded quickly to the scene, temporarily shutting down all northbound lanes while emergency crews worked to assist those involved.
