El Paso, TX. (November 29, 2025) – A tragic motorcycle crash claimed the life of a young man Wednesday afternoon in northeast El Paso.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred around 1:04 p.m. on November 26 at the intersection of Magnetic Street and Hercules Avenue. Authorities identified the victim as 26-year-old John Paul Forero Moya of El Paso.
Investigators say a 2014 Nissan Murano, driven by 37-year-old Juan Jose Flores Orozco of Socorro, was heading south on Magnetic Street and attempting a left-hand turn onto Hercules Avenue. At the same time, Moya was riding his motorcycle northbound on Magnetic when the two vehicles collided.
Moya was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Orozco remained at the scene, and police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
