Pacoima, CA (October 24, 2025) – A 53-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a deadly hit-and-run crash that occurred Sunday night in the Pacoima neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10 p.m. on October 19 in the 13200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard. Juan Villegas Martinez, a Pacoima resident, was walking in the area when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver did not stop after hitting Martinez and fled the scene. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Martinez was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
