Lamont, CA (November 12, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash in Lamont Tuesday morning left at least one person with major injuries and prompted a DUI investigation, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 8:30 a.m. on November 11 near the intersection of South Fairfax Road and Buena Vista Boulevard. The vehicles involved were identified as a blue Toyota sedan and a grey Ford Ranger pickup truck.
Emergency personnel transported at least two people to a local hospital, including one individual with serious injuries. CHP reported that a passenger in the Toyota left the scene in another vehicle before authorities arrived.
The driver of the Toyota is suspected of driving under the influence, though no arrests have been confirmed as of this report.
The CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
