According to reports, the first collision happened around 8:00 a.m. on August 25 near Magnolia Avenue and Greenleaf Avenue, where the driver of a black Honda Civic struck another vehicle and fled the scene. Moments later, the same Honda driver ran a red light at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Crescent Avenue, crashing into another car.
The impact caused the driver of the Honda to be ejected. He was rushed to a hospital with severe head trauma and is listed in critical condition. Police confirmed that the other three drivers involved in the two incidents were not injured.
