Compton, CA (December 9, 2025) — A man was left unconscious in the street early Monday morning after a hit-and-run crash in Compton. The incident happened at approximately 3:24 a.m. on December 8 near the intersection of North Long Beach Boulevard and East Rosecrans Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, multiple emergency units responded to the scene, with at least 15 personnel arriving to assist, including a SAM unit at the request of the commanding officer. The victim, described as an adult Black male, was found non-responsive in the roadway.
First responders initiated life-saving measures and transported the man to a nearby hospital for emergency care. The vehicle involved fled the scene, and officers are actively working to identify the driver responsible. TAC 7 was used to coordinate a Code 3 response from Compton units.
