El Paso, TX (September 13, 2025) A 20-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in East El Paso last month.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision occurred around 3:00 a.m. on August 31 on Interstate 10 near the Don Haskins exit, close to Joe Battle Boulevard. Investigators say Marissa Arlene Dominguez was driving a 2024 Ford Mustang when she rear-ended a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.

The impact ejected the motorcyclist, identified as Alejandro Rodriguez, from the bike. He died at the scene from his injuries.

Authorities later obtained a warrant for Dominguez’s arrest on a charge of manslaughter. She was taken into custody on Thursday and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. Her bond was set at $100,000.
