Knoxville, TN (December 17, 2025) — A devastating apartment fire erupted Sunday evening in Knoxville, forcing residents to flee and leaving more than a dozen people and several pets without homes.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Knoxville Fire Department responded around 6:30 p.m. on December 14 to a structure fire at a building within The Collective at Sutherlands complex, located on Greenbrier Ridge Way. Flames spread quickly throughout the building, ultimately destroying 10 apartment units.
