KILLEEN, TX (November 19, 2025) – A Killeen man lost his life Monday evening in a motorcycle accident at a busy local intersection.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 6:54 p.m. on November 17, 2025, at the intersection of Old FM 440 Road and Pershing Drive. Police said 50-year-old Edwin Cruzado Arce was riding westbound on Pershing Drive at a high speed when he attempted to stop at a stop sign but was unable to do so. He laid down the motorcycle before entering the intersection, where he and the bike were struck by a gray sedan traveling northbound on Old FM 440 Road.

Arce, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and later pronounced dead.

No one else was injured in the crash. The Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit continues to investigate.
