Snyder, TX (October 21, 2025) – A tragic motorcycle crash on Thursday afternoon resulted in one fatality and left another person seriously injured near Snyder in Scurry County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred on October 17, 2025, along U.S. Highway 84 at Ennis Creek Road. A motorcycle was traveling northbound when it collided with the rear of an SUV that had just turned onto the highway from Ennis Creek Road.
The male rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital in Lubbock. His female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that both individuals were wearing helmets at the time of the crash. The driver of the SUV was uninjured.
