According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 3:34 p.m. on East Lyons Street near Hope Lane. A 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading west when the rider attempted to pass a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck that was in the process of turning into a private driveway.
The motorcycle collided with the side of the turning pickup, resulting in the rider being thrown from the bike.
