Yuba City, CA (August 5, 2025) – A 61-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision involving a Nissan SUV at a busy intersection on Highway 99 in Yuba City.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 8:45 a.m. on July 30. Officials identified the victim as Timothy Daniel of Live Oak, who was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on Highway 99 at the time of the incident.
California Highway Patrol says Daniel was passing through the intersection at Bogue Road with a green light when a white Nissan Rogue, driven by a 65-year-old man, turned left in front of him. The Nissan was following an aggregate truck, and both vehicles were turning onto eastbound Bogue Road despite having a red light.
Daniel collided with the SUV and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the Rogue sustained minor injuries, and his passenger was reportedly uninjured. Both were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
