Antelope Valley, CA (July 19, 2025) – A 31-year-old woman from Lake Arrowhead was killed in a tragic motorcycle crash Thursday morning along State Route 14 near Pearblossom Highway.
According to reports, the fatal incident occurred at approximately 9:26 a.m. on July 18. California Highway Patrol officials said the motorcycle, carrying both a driver and passenger, was entering the northbound lanes of the 14 Freeway from Pearblossom Highway when the rider lost control. The motorcycle overturned and struck a raised concrete median before the female passenger was ejected and collided with a metal freeway sign post.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but the woman was pronounced dead at the site. The driver of the motorcycle sustained undisclosed injuries. CHP confirmed that both individuals were wearing helmets, and alcohol or drug impairment is not suspected at this time.
