Modesto, CA (August 2, 2025) – A 25-year-old man from Delhi was killed early Friday morning in a motorcycle collision near Modesto, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 5:11 a.m. on August 1 along Albers Road, just north of Dusty Lane. CHP investigators say the incident happened when a northbound sedan began to slow down to make a left turn onto private property. Four vehicles traveling behind also reduced their speed.
As the motorcyclist approached the line of slowing vehicles, he moved into the southbound lane in an attempt to pass them. At that moment, the motorcycle collided with the turning sedan. Despite wearing a helmet, the rider suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan was not injured.
Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The name of the motorcyclist has not yet been released.
