Woodbridge, NJ (August 11, 2026) – A 33-year-old South Amboy man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash involving a van on Route 440 in Woodbridge Township on August 6. The collision occurred at approximately 4:25 p.m. on northbound Route 440 near milepost 1.2 in Middlesex County.
According to the New Jersey State Police, troopers responded after a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and Ford van collided. The preliminary investigation indicated that the Harley-Davidson was traveling north on the right shoulder while the Ford was traveling north in the right lane ahead of the motorcycle.
Near milepost 1.2, authorities said the Ford entered the right shoulder, and the Harley-Davidson subsequently struck the van. The motorcycle overturned and ejected its operator.
