Harrisonville, MO (December 22, 2025) – A man and woman were both seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon on Interstate 49 southbound in Cass County, just south of Harrisonville. The crash occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. on December 20.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1988 Harley Davidson FXRS veered off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment. The impact caused the motorcycle to overturn, ejecting both riders. The 64-year-old male driver was airlifted to a hospital in serious condition, while the 65-year-old female passenger was transported via EMS, also with serious injuries.
