Twentynine Palms, CA (September 11, 2025) – A motorcycle crash involving a car and a pedestrian left two individuals injured late Saturday morning in Twentynine Palms.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. on September 6 in the westbound lane of Indian Trail, just east of Morongo Road. Authorities said 33-year-old Chaz Lithgow, a Twentynine Palms resident, was operating a 2024 Suzuki motorcycle westbound when he struck a Toyota Camry and subsequently hit a 40-year-old male pedestrian.
Both Lithgow and the pedestrian suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. CHP officials believe alcohol played a role in the crash and recommended felony DUI charges against Lithgow. However, no arrests have been made at this time.
