Louisville, KY (September 12, 2025) – A fatal collision near the Iroquois Park neighborhood has left a motorcyclist dead following a crash involving a silver Mazda sedan on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Kentucky State Police, officers with the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 4:45 p.m. on September 11 at the intersection of Manslick Road and Vista John Drive. Authorities say the Mazda was heading northbound when the driver attempted to turn onto Vista John Drive, striking an oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, who was reportedly not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the Mazda sustained minor injuries and were transported to St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. They are expected to recover.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is continuing its investigation, though no charges are anticipated at this time.
