Cerritos, CA (December 12, 2025) – A motorcyclist was tragically killed in a collision involving multiple vehicles Thursday morning on State Route 91 eastbound, just west of the Interstate 605 connector.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash occurred at approximately 7:27 a.m. on December 11. Investigators say a white SUV crossed out of the HOV lane, leading to a direct impact with a motorcycle traveling in the same lane. The motorcyclist was then thrown into a second vehicle, identified as a white Toyota RAV4, before coming to rest in the roadway.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after the crash and found the rider unresponsive in the HOV lane. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional injuries were immediately reported, and no arrests have been made.
