Brentwood, CA (August 27, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained major injuries after a crash involving a Toyota Camry on eastbound Highway 4 Tuesday morning, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:52 a.m. on August 26, just west of the Balfour Road off-ramp. The rider of a sports bike was reportedly traveling east when the crash occurred under circumstances still being investigated.
The injured rider was transported by Contra Costa County Fire personnel to John Muir Health Walnut Creek Medical Center for emergency treatment. The driver of the Toyota was not reported to have sustained injuries.
