Long Beach, CA (November 24, 2025) – A high-speed multi-vehicle accident in Long Beach resulted in one fatality Saturday evening, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 7 p.m. on November 22 at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and East San Antonio Drive. Investigators said a man driving a 2005 Nissan Altima northbound on Long Beach Boulevard at a high rate of speed collided with the back of a 2018 Jeep Cherokee.
The force of the impact sent the Jeep onto the sidewalk, where it struck a fire hydrant before slamming into a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban parked in a nearby lot. The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene. The other drivers remained on-site and cooperated with authorities.
