Orange County, CA (September 5, 2025) – A devastating multi-vehicle crash in Silverado Thursday afternoon left one man dead and three others, including a child, hospitalized with injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 1:15 p.m. on September 5 on Santiago Canyon Road, near the intersection with Silverado Canyon Road. A large truck and two passenger vehicles were involved in the fiery wreck, which blocked the roadway and sparked flames in at least two of the vehicles.
Firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority quickly arrived and extinguished the blaze. Despite rescue efforts, one adult male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Three additional victims – two adults and a child – were transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. Their conditions have not been publicly disclosed.
