According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 6:40 p.m. on October 15 in the southbound lanes of Interstate 880, just north of the East Brokaw Road off-ramp.
The crash involved a silver Mazda SUV, a gray Honda Odyssey, and a third unidentified vehicle. The impact caused airbag deployment in at least one vehicle, and emergency crews were called to assist those involved.
