Los Angeles, CA (September 29, 2025) – A violent crash in the Boyle Heights neighborhood left one woman dead and three others seriously injured Sunday afternoon, September 28. Authorities say a fifth individual involved attempted to flee the scene.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the 100 block of North Chicago Street, where they discovered a multi-vehicle collision involving several severely damaged cars and one person trapped inside a wrecked vehicle.
One woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Three additional victims—one in critical condition and two with serious injuries—were transported to a nearby trauma center for emergency treatment. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
