San Carlos, CA (November 24, 2025) – Tragedy struck early Wednesday morning when a pedestrian was fatally struck by two vehicles on Mission Gorge Road near Princess View Drive, according to police.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. on November 19. A 38-year-old woman was reportedly walking across Mission Gorge Road mid-block when she was first hit by a 2021 Honda CRV. Moments later, she was also struck by a 2022 Tesla Model Y.
Emergency personnel responded to the 7500 block of the road and confirmed that the woman had died at the scene. Authorities have not released her identity pending notification of next of kin.
The San Diego Police Department is continuing its investigation into the cause of the collision.
