Los Angeles, CA (January 19, 2026) – A deadly incident involving a pedestrian occurred early Friday morning at a busy freeway connector in downtown Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were dispatched around 2:57 a.m. on January 16 to the connector from the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway to the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway. There, they discovered a pedestrian lying on the roadway.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed the pedestrian deceased upon arrival. The identity, gender, and age of the victim have not yet been released by officials.
