North Park, CA (October 13, 2025) – A man suffered serious injuries early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle while on Cajon Boulevard in North Park, according to police.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:20 a.m. on October 12 in the 3100 block of Cajon Boulevard. A 50-year-old man was reportedly running near a center divider when he moved into the traffic lanes and was struck by a GMC Jimmy driven by a 70-year-old man.
Emergency responders arrived and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital. He sustained a fractured pelvis and facial lacerations. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
