Fresno County, CA (November 18, 2025) — Two adults were hurt Sunday evening after a semi-truck reportedly ran a stop sign and struck an SUV at the intersection of State Highway 145 and Manning Avenue in rural Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just after 4:40 p.m. on November 16, 2025. Investigators said the semi-truck was traveling southbound on Highway 145 at around 55 miles per hour when it approached a stop sign at the intersection. For reasons still under investigation, the truck did not stop and broadsided an eastbound GMC SUV, which had the right of way and was traveling at around 5 miles per hour.
The SUV’s driver and front passenger sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Two children under 10, also in the SUV, were not hurt.
The truck driver was not injured and is not suspected of impairment.
