Concord, NH (August 30, 2025) – A serious crash involving entrapment and trauma-level injuries occurred around noon on Thursday, August 28, on the southbound side of Interstate 93 near Exit 13 in Concord. Emergency crews rushed to the scene following reports of a motor vehicle collision involving a possible wrong-way driver.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, a silver Hyundai sedan, driven by 18-year-old Liana Fox of Bow, entered I-93 by traveling northbound on the southbound Exit 13 offramp. She collided in the high-speed lane with a black Chevrolet pickup truck driven by 57-year-old William Marie of Barrington.
The crash resulted in significant damage and the entrapment of Fox, requiring extrication. Both drivers were transported to Concord Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Trauma activation was requested due to the severity of the crash. Two southbound lanes of I-93 were temporarily closed while emergency crews worked the scene.
