Solvang, CA (May 14, 2025) – According to reports, a serious two-vehicle accident in Santa Ynez left three people injured on Monday, May 12, just before 1:00 p.m.
Emergency crews from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to the crash scene on Highway 246. One woman, who was the sole occupant of one of the vehicles, had to be extricated from the wreckage due to major injuries. She was then airlifted to Cottage Hospital for further treatment.
The other vehicle involved was occupied by two adults—a man and a woman—who both sustained moderate injuries. Ambulance crews transported them to Cottage Hospital for medical care.
