St. Louis, MO (January 15, 2025) – A rear-end collision on the eastbound Interstate 64 ramp to Missouri 141 resulted in injuries Tuesday evening, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. on January 14.
A 2016 Volkswagen Touareg, driven by a 23-year-old man from High Ridge, MO, was traveling in the right lane of the ramp along with a 2023 Honda Accord, driven by a 49-year-old man from St. Charles, MO.
As both vehicles prepared to make a right turn, the Honda slowed and stopped at the yield sign. The Volkswagen failed to stop in time, causing its front right to strike the rear left of the Honda.
The driver of the Honda sustained injuries and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital by West County EMS and Fire. The driver of the Volkswagen was not injured, and both vehicles sustained minor damage.
The Volkswagen was driven from the scene, while the Honda was secured off the roadway.
