San Marcos, CA (August 22, 2025) – A suspected DUI crash left two individuals injured Wednesday afternoon after a violent collision in San Marcos. The incident occurred at approximately 3:23 p.m. on August 20 at the intersection of Cox Road and Mulberry Drive.
According to reports, a 42-year-old man behind the wheel of a Nissan minivan attempted to pass another vehicle but sideswiped it instead. The minivan then crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a Lexus sedan driven by a 22-year-old man.
