Virginia Beach, VA (September 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on the northbound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel led to major traffic delays and left one person seriously injured Monday afternoon.
According to the Virginia State Police, the incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on September 8. A sport utility vehicle attempted to switch lanes, reportedly forcing a second vehicle against the curb. Both vehicles lost control, and the SUV overturned, landing on its cab.
