According to reports, the incident happened around 6:00 p.m. on August 4 in the 1500 block of Sage Canyon Road. Cal Fire crews from the Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit arrived quickly and located the truck, which had come to rest down a hillside.

Firefighters worked to extricate the driver from the wreckage. The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was flown to a nearby hospital by helicopter due to the severity of their injuries.
